• Successful relationships have upsets and disagreements just like people who divorce. They even argue about the same issues. We are all alike in that respect. The difference between success and failure is the way in which they handle these disagreements.

Successful couples have skills and attitudes that help them build long-term happiness. Somehow, they learned the art of building strong, healthy relationships with their partner. How did these successful people learn to do this? Where did they learn? At home? Possibly. These people either stumbled across the secrets on their own, or somebody taught them.

The Relationship Training Academy was created to handle that problem. Because we aren’t given an “Owner’s Manual” at birth and because relationship skills aren’t taught in our school systems, most people are lacking in this education. It shouldn’t be a great mystery. There is a lot of good information out there, literally thousands of books with thousands of valid viewpoints on what makes relationships tick.

There are also countless weekend courses designed to solve this problem, but there is some interesting information that suggests that a weekend course can actually lead to greater feelings of hopelessness, unless there is follow up.

The Academy Solves That Problem.

Our 26 years of working in this field has shown us that a weekend class without follow-up to integrate the material does not provide the lasting results that people want. Many people have a row of 3-ring binders gathering dust on bookshelves. They enjoyed the class, thought it would help them, but without follow-through, the information soon becomes lost in the archives, forgotten and un-used. Without the follow-up, any progress made during the weekend begins to fade as people revert to their old ways and habits. And that’s what got them into the fix they’re in, in the first place!
